Investment in digitalization: Romanian low cost airline Blue Air launches its new mobile app

Blue Air has launched its new mobile app for iOS and Android, designed to better customize travel, streamline the check-in flow and the booking process, Agerpres reports.

“By downloading the initial version of the app, Blue Air passengers will enjoy: a better booking experience with quick flight search and purchase, promotions available exclusively in the app, a simpler and friendlier check-in flow, and boarding passes available digitally at their fingertips in the app, even offline. The My Bookings feature makes details of upcoming trips available to users,” the release said.

According to the quoted source, the Blue Air app is available in all countries, in three languages – Romanian, English, Italian.

Blue Air is a Romanian airline with an Ultra – Low – Cost (ULC) business model and has a team of over 1,000 professionals. The company operates Boeing 737 aircraft.

In its 16 years of activity, Blue Air has carried over 32 million passengers and flown over 340 million kilometres.
